Kitesurfing Taster – First steps.

The 1 day introductory kitesurf course is a great way to confirm this amazing sport is for you.  The instructor will guide you through the basics of kite flying theory and safety, in order to begin your kitesurfing journey..

Starting with how to rig your kite, you will then be taken step by step through the built in safety features.  With this mastered, you are then able to learn how to fly a traction kite, experience the power zone and how this is used to pull you through the water.  As part of this process you will compete a number of exercises in kite control, building your skill and confidence levels.

The objective of day 1, is for you to be able to land and launch the kite safely, and move the kite though the power zone in a controlled manor.  This introductory session is perfect if you are looking to try kitesurfing for the first time, and get a sense of the exhilaration enjoyed by so many kitesurfers.
